WEBTOON WORKS

•The Muffin Tale [2007-2013]
My first narrative webcomic and the start of digital drawing. Some of these stories can be inspiring, dramatic, or plain muffin-corny. These episodes are drawn to bring a bit of laughter or chuckle throughout your day.

•A Budgie's Life [2016-2020]
My first series with WEBTOONS. This was one of the longest series I ever worked on. The stories are based on my four budgies and the adventures they have with their doting owner. (Max episodes: 400) Physical Book & ebook in progress!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ͏͏͏͏͏͏
•Soara Academy [2017-]
A humanized spin-off of A Budgie’s Life webtoon. Follow high schooler Tony and his journey to find a flock. Dive into a birdyful universe where humans can grow wings to fly! This can be read as a stand-alone comic.
Warning: intense bird puns

•Spirit Helper [2020-2021]
A fancomic based off of Sky: Children of the Light game. Due to the wholesomeness of the Sky community, this series went on for three seasons. There was much love and support for these Sky stories.

•The Millet Club [2022-]
This club is a dedication to our millet queen, Chewy. The birds from A Budgie’s Life Webtoon are back! And they’re more iconic than ever.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ͏͏͏͏͏͏
•Witches & Wine [2022-]
This is an experimental series I drew for fun for my social media. I grew up reading fairytale books (and still do today) and tried a bit of my own retelling. I am grateful for the support of readers who encourages me to continue.
*Volume One crowdfunded. Volume 2 in planning…

Is your art in watercolors?
I love watercolors but I cannot for the life of me paint! I’m using digital watercolor brush that hopefully imitates the medium I love.
What drawing programs do you use?
Procreate and Photoshop
What brushes do you use?
I love using the standard Procreate brush, Ink Bleed, for almost anything. And I use a variety of custom ink and watercolor brushes. I like to experiment around to find the best texture. You can download one of my fave watercolor brush through my KO-FI shop!
Your style reminds me of Ghibli
I consider that a huge compliment. My style is inspired by Miyazaki-san and I love how he can show a detailed world from his simple style. He’s a oneman storyteller and artist I strive to be like.
Why do you love birds so much?
Childhood infatuation. I grew up watching and admiring birds as a kid. Once I realized I can have actual birds as companions, my appreciation for them grew as I bonded with them. They're underrated-ly smart with BIG personalities. My little parrotlet, Soba, never fails to make my day! They're my spirit animal, drawing companion, and a huge inspiration to my art and career.
